Louise is a psychologist with over 18 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults affected by complex trauma and abuse. She has specialist expertise working with children, young people and families impacted by child sexual abuse, family and domestic violence, and homicide.
Louise has held senior clinical and management roles in trauma-informed therapeutic services, including leading multidisciplinary teams co-located with Western Police, coordinating specialist responses for children and families affected by abuse, serious physical harm, and homicide. She has provided consultancy and professional development training for a range of agencies.
Her experience further extends to early intervention services in child-parent centres, schools, and childcare settings, delivering trauma counselling, social skills and transition programs, protective behaviours, and cognitive assessments.

Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices and is responsive to clients experiencing high distress, dissociation, avoidance, and/or complex presentations. This may also include at-risk youth, attachment difficulties, challenging behaviours, and harmful sexualised behaviours.
She also supports clients with general psychological concerns, including anxiety, mood, eating and personality disorders, suicidality, and self-harming behaviours.
