Accepting Referrals
Mindstate Psychology currently accepts referrals for individual therapy, group therapy, and neurofeedback with no waitlists!

Referrals can be sent to info@mindstatepsychology.com.au. If you have a particular practitioner in mind, please note this in your referral. If a specific practitioner is not requested, address the referral to Mindstate Psychology, and we will select the most appropriate practitioner based on factors like availability, specialty and experience.

We believe in thorough assessments to accurately diagnose and understand our patients' needs. Our comprehensive evaluations encompass psychological testing, diagnostic interviews, and collaboration with other healthcare providers when necessary. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of each patient's presenting issues, we ensure targeted and effective treatment planning.

Our Services

We provide counselling, assessment, and other mental healthcare services for children, adolescents and adults throughout Perth and Western Australia. We can provide face-to-face or telehealth services tailored to each client’s needs.

Individual Therapy

We can provide individual therapy for various psychological issues such as depression, anxiety and stress, trauma, relationship issues, ADHD and addictions (including pornography, drugs, and sex addiction).

Our practitioners use effective techniques, including EMDR, ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy and more.

Couples Therapy

Mindstate Psychology supports couples and families experiencing difficulty through parenting coordination and couples therapy.

Our psychologists hold training in Gottman's Method and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Couples Therapy.

Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is an interactive and dynamic treatment that helps you strengthen and retrain your brain to achieve a healthier, more focused state.

While Neurofeedback is an emerging treatment, there is significant evidence for its use in a range of common conditions.

When necessary we regularly liaise with psychiatrists, GPs, and specialists to ensure that our treatment plans are comprehensive and integrated. We maintain open lines of communication with you, our referring providers, to keep you informed of our patients' progress and collaborate on treatment adjustments when needed. This seamless coordination ensures that our patients receive consistent and cohesive care across all facets of their treatment.

Referral Network: Beyond our internal team, we have cultivated a robust network of trusted healthcare providers across various specialties. If a patient requires adjunctive services or specialised care outside the scope of our practice, we can help facilitate referrals to trusted colleagues in our network. Together, we can ensure that your patients have access to the resources they need to thrive.
