Nadia Smith

Nadia Smith is a Registered Psychologist (AHPRA)with experience working across out-of-home care, corrective services, and private practice. Her clinical work is informed by a strong understanding of how trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, and life experiences interact to influence emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and functioning.

Nadia works with children, adolescents and adults presenting with ADHD, Autism Spectrum presentations, trauma and stress-related difficulties, anxiety, and challenges with emotional regulation and executive functioning. She provides both psychological assessment and therapy, integrating evidence-based approaches with practical, functional recommendations to support individuals, families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.

In therapy, Nadia takes a collaborative and strengths-based approach, drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT),DBT-informed strategies, Schema Therapy, and EMDR. She is known for her calm, relational style and her ability to explain complex psychological concepts in a clear and accessible way.

Nadia values cultural safety, respectful collaboration, and the development of a strong therapeutic alliance. She is committed to creating a supportive and non-judgemental space where clients feel understood and empowered to build insight, resilience, and sustainable change.
